Life Change Tullahoma's Christmas Dinner Fellowship is this Friday, December 13 @ 6:30. The evening will feature cherished Christmas music by special guest Tom and Lisa Maurer.

Lisa is a piano and string instrument virtuoso. Her husband Tom is a skilled woodwinds instrumentalist. Both teach privately and in various schools in the area.

The main course for the evening will be honey ham and turkey. We ask that each person bring a side dish or dessert to compliment the meats that would feed 6-8 people. Life Change will provide the tableware and drinks including coffee.

Dress is a nice casual. As always, jeans are acceptable. Ultimately, the purpose of this event is to gather together to connect and to get to know one another better.  

ALL ATTENDEES MUST PRE-REGISTER.
Registration closes on Thursday, December 12 at 7:30pm.

Finally, we would like to encourage you to bring a food item to donate to the food pantry so that we can continue to bless others during the Christmas season.

5 Good Reasons to Give to LCCT on Giving Tuesday

Today is Giving Tuesday. A day set aside amidst the holiday hustle and bustle to give to non-profits and charitable organizations. LCCT is a 501C3 organization which means your financial contributions to LCCT are tax deductible. 

In November alone, LCCT gave over $640.00 to people and families in our community that were in need. This number does not include the many turkeys, hams, and food pantry items that were donated. Nor does it include a total of $1050.00 of giving to local missions (Blue Monarch, Life Choices, Duck River Association).

Two years ago today, the Tullahoma News featured an article about a new church plant called Life Change Church Tullahoma. As I read that article again today, I was reminded of our mission and the vision God set before me. It was encouraging to know that we are now doing what God set before us to do! You can read the article by clicking HERE. God has been faithful, and He has used many of you to accomplish His purposes and plans for LCCT. Thank you for being faithful!

Besides the reasons above, I want to give you 5 LEGIT reasons to give this Giving Tuesday.

1. Don't put off until tomorrow what God is leading you to do today.
2. When you give to the ministry of LCCT you can KNOW that your gifts are making a difference where you live.
3. God's Word promises that He will bless you when you give.
4. Giving is a sacrifice, but it is also a blessing. Something happens in us when we give sacrificially that brings joy to our hearts.
5. Your gift WILL strengthen and help expand the ministry of LCCT.

God's Word tells us to give cheerfully and joyfully. It also says that we are to seek God and give with our hearts. My prayer is that you will do just that, and that you will be obedient to whatever God has called you to do.

GIVING TUESDAY - LIFE CHANGE CHURCH TULLAHOMA

Over the past several days, we have been inundated with Black Friday and Cyber Monday "deals". And over the course of four days, millions of people have spent billions of dollars on gifts for themselves or others. 

GIVING TUESDAY is a movement that began in 2011 to encourage people to give to non-profit and/or charitable organizations in the midst of our holiday shopping and spending.
I would like to share with you what I am praying for, and would like for you to prayerfully consider when it comes to Giving Tuesday and the ministry of Life Change Tullahoma...

It is my prayer that you would give above and beyond your regular giving (what you have given or what you plan to give) so that the Ministry of Life Change Tullahoma can finish out the year financially strong, and begin the year 2020 stronger!

Please know that no gift is too small. In fact, when we all do our part, we make a real difference! And as I have shared with you before, I will not ask anything of you that I am not willing to do myself. LCCT's Giving Tuesdaybegins this evening (12.2.19) at 5:00, and will conclude at the end of the day on Tuesday, December 3rd. All gifts will be placed in the general fund to be used as needed for the various ministry needs of LCCT.
