Life Change Church Tullahoma Update 1.28.18

Greetings Friends and Family of Life Change Church Tullahoma!

I pray you had a great week! I truly believe that one of the keys to starting the week of right is by gathering with others to worship Jesus! I am looking forward to gathering with you tomorrow, Sunday, January 28th at 10:00 to do just that! We will be continuing in our LIFE series tomorrow with a message titled, “What Drives You, Defines You". In this message we will talk about what it is that truly makes you, you. How do others see you? How do you see yourself? How will those who know you best remember about you when you one day leave this earth? You may or may not know, or think you know what drives you. Tomorrow you will have a better sense of what does drive you, what should drive you, and how to rid yourselves of anything you don’t want driving your life or identity. It’s going to be a great morning at Life Change!

Some of you have inquired about joining Life Change Church in Covenant Membership. I am excited to tell you that beginning Sunday, February 4th, you will have the opportunity to do just that! There will be a 15 to 20 minute gathering following the 10:00 service where Covenant Membership at Life Change will be explained, and you will have the opportunity to join Life Change Church in Covenant Membership either by Statement of Faith, Transfer of Church Membership, or Baptism.

Here you’ll find a host of information including: what we believe, our leadership and leadership structure, our accountability structure, and several other pages full of everything from videos of our services, social media connections, online giving, directions to our church at 414 Wilson Avenue, and more!

SUPER LAUNCH SUNDAY is Sunday, February 4th at 10:00! This is the Sunday we will officially launch as a church! Please be working on inviting others, and even bringing others to Life Change on the 4th. We will also begin providing CHILDCARE on the 4th for children from birth through Kindergarten.

I will be working on the February through May Church Calendar this next week which will offer opportunities for fellowship, community service projects, and youth and children’s activities. Look for the calendar to be posted on our website within the next week!

Hello from Life Change Church Tullahoma!

I wanted to say how thankful I am for you today! That’s right, YOU! You are an important part of God’s Church and I am thankful you have chosen to participate in the Ministry called Life Change Tullahoma! I am looking forward to a great year together!

Our next BIG STEP is to provide CHILDCARE and a great CHILDREN’S ENVIRONMENT at Life Change! You can help us in accomplishing this in two ways: One, we are praying for 6-8 volunteers who will help lead our Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry which we are hoping to have up and running on Sunday, February 4th! If you would be interested in working with children from Birth to Age 5 please indicate so on our revised Communication Card this Sunday, or you can simply reply to this email. Secondly, we are looking for gently used or new items to use in our children’s area. Some suggested items include: crib, high chair, changing table, picture books, easy reading books, children’s toys without small or breakable parts, a kitchen set, preschool toys, a baby swing, toddler walker, etc. Thank you in advance for helping us take this next BIG STEP!

WINTER WEATHER - If snow or ice ever leads us to cancel a Sunday service we will contact you via text, email, and will post a message on on our Facebook page, Instagram page, and our Website.

Finally, as we prepare to officially launch on February 4th, we are having to purchase some necessary things to both enhance what we do on Sunday mornings, as well as get the word out about Life Change Church. I share this with you because these “things” cost money. Please continue to pray about how God might have you give on a financially to the ministry of Life Change Tullahoma. I especially want to encourage those of you who attend with us regularly to consider what God would have you give on a regular basis. Another option for giving financially is by sending a check to our address at 414 Wilson Ave. Suite 121 Tullahoma, TN 37388. Please make all checks out to Life Change Tullahoma. You can also use the address previously mentioned to give via your online banking. Remember, God promises to not only reward us when we give, He promises to give us back in such a way that are “cup will be overflowing with blessing”!

Malachi 3:10 (NIV) - Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it!
