A Note From Pastor Christian
Every once in a while God makes it clear to me that the sermon I prepared on Tuesday is not the sermon He desires for me to preach on Sunday. This has been one of those "once in a while" weeks. So today, I opened up a fresh copy of Microsoft Word and began preparing a sermon I had not known I would be preaching until early this morning. The sermon is simply titled, "Forgiveness".
When God leads me to change my sermon, He has a good reason for the change. I truly believe God is going to use the message He has placed on my heart, and the scripture He has led me to use to change hearts, renew minds, refresh souls, and break chains! And for this reason, I strongly encourage you to make every effort to be with us this Sunday, December 2 @ 10:00 as I share this message with you. I look forward to our time together!

Upcoming Activities and Events at LCCT...

Christmas Decorating Night & Parade!

Everyone is encouraged to join us this Tuesday evening, December 4 @ 5:45 for some inside/outside decorating. Outside decorating will be all about preparing the LCCT Christmas float for the parade! We will be doing some minor construction on the float as we put up railings and prepare the sides for the BIG Life Change banners! The 30 foot float will have a four person sleigh on it as well as Christmas lights and decor. Inside decorating will be all about setting up and decorating Christmas trees in and around our ministry areas at LCCT. Bottom line... There will be something for everyone to do as we work to bring Christmas to life at LCCT!

Missions Giving

Even though Life Change Church Tullahoma is itself a mission itself, it is our desire to always be on mission! There are two ways that you can give above and beyond your regular giving to LCCT this Christmas season. The first is by giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. The Lottie Moon Christmas offering goes to serve missionaries and missions efforts outside of North America. Our goal for 2018 is give $750.00 as a church. Secondly, you can stop by The Giving Tree in our fellowship area, pick a need off the tree, and give. The Giving Tree will help those in our local community with utility bills, fuel for transportation, food, and other basic needs of those in and around our community. Please consider what God might have you give to these areas of need. it truly is better to give than to receive!

New Series - Unto Us!

December 9, 16, 23, and 30 @ 10:00 at LCCT! 700 years before the birth of Christ, Isaiah prophesied His lineage, birth, life, death, and resurrection. Beginning Sunday, December 9, this four-week series explores the Christmas story by examining the relationship between the book of Isaiah and the purpose and work of Christ in the New Testament.

Covenant Membership Class!

Sunday, December 9 from 11:30 - 12:15. Whether you are interested in becoming a Covenant Member of LCCT or just want to know more about LCCT, this class is for you!

LCCT Christmas Party

Everyone is invited to Life Change Tullahoma's 2nd Annual Christmas Dinner Party on Friday, December 14th @ 6:00! Please bring a side dish that will feed your family plus 4 more, and a "Dirty Santa" gift for the gift exchange. (The gift can be something new or used but must cost no more than $10.00. The Christmas Party is a great time to make new friends and catch up with old friends at LCCT! Looking forward to seeing you there!

Community Serve Day this Saturday October 20th @ 9:00!

Life Change Tullahoma Community Serve - East Middle School! This Saturday, October 20th at 9:00!

Saturday, October 20, 2018 Community Serve will focus on an exterior beautification project at East Middle School!  LCCT Community Serve is a day set aside for the body of Christ that is LCCT to use our gifts, talents, and abilities to serve one another and our greater community in the name of Jesus Christ. 

Along with our work at the Middle School, we are going to send 4-6 workers over to the home of Earlene Cantrell to help her with both some inside and outside clean up. If you would like to go over to help Earlene, please LMK. Earlene lives at 1310 Short Spring Rd.

Bring rakes, hedge clippers, extension cords, pruning shears, work gloves, step ladders, and anything and everything else you might use or think of to trim bushes, small trees, etc. 

We could also use the following: wheelbarrows, a generator or two for powered hedge trimmers, trimming saw, a chainsaw.

We would love to put down some mulch if one of our local companies would donate it, but so far we’ve had no luck! Lowe’s did tell us they would allow us to purchase mulch at cost.

If the workday is cancelled due to rain you will be notified by text or email by 8:00 am on October 20th.

LCCT Important Update 9.26.18

Greetings Friends and Family of Life Change Tullahoma!

What a blessing it was to worship in our new Worship Center this past Sunday, September 23rd! God's timing was perfect as we had 117 people in attendance. Our previous worship space held a total of 109 and that would have been a tight fit! All glory to God for blessing His church called Life Change!

Steering Team 

For the first 3 years of Life Change Church Tullahoma, the church will be led by a Steering Team that works with the pastor to help in the decisions and direction of the church. The Steering Team also provides accountability to the pastor and any hired staff. Those on the Steering Team include: Jennifer Bean, Allen Bean, Connie Cleghorn, Ronald Eads, The Rev. David Watts, The Rev. Howard Eads, Dianne Watts, Gentry Eads, Kimberly Hampton, Wade Hampton, Kelleye Watts, Pastor Christian Watts, Mike Loehle, Lawrence Carr, Heather Fair, Rosemary Black, Chris Cooper, and Adam Watts. 

Finance Team

Two of our Steering Team Members also sit on our Finance Team: Heather Fair, and Connie Cleghorn.

One of the key leaders on our Finance Team is Linda Stocky who at the time of this letter is

in a Hospice Care Facility battling cancer. It is with heavy hearts that we share that Linda is not expected to live more than a few days from the time this update is published. We will miss Linda and are thankful God used her to help us establish the Finance Team here at Life Change. Please keep Linda and the Stocky family in prayer during this difficult, and unexpected time.

Finance Update and The Grow Project

• Our weekly budget need through the end of 2018 are $2222.22. 
• Our weekly offerings for 4 weeks of September total $6351.31
• Weekly Budget shortfall for first four weeks of September - $2537.57

Our weekly giving totals represent approx. 12 to 14 family units per week that give towards the ministry of Life Change on a regular basis. It goes without saying that if we are going to be able to meet the ministry needs of our church family and community, we need to see these numbers increase. If you do not give regularly to the ministry of Life Change Church Tullahoma, we ask that you would prayerfully consider making giving financially to LCCT a priority.

The Grow Project is a five week stewardship campaign that was launched by our Steering Team and Finance Team to help in covering the cost of moving into our new worship space, as well as being able to finish the work that has yet to be completed. The theme of The Grow Project is "Giving to Grow, Growing to Give". The hopeful outcome of The Grow Project is to bring in a total of $15,000.00 above our regular giving by Sunday, October 21st. To date The Grow Project has received a total of $1569.00. We have dedicated offering envelopes at Life Change just for the grow project (pictured right). If paying by check or online please add "Grow Project" in the memo section of your payment. As with all giving to Life Change Tullahoma, gifts to "The Grow Project" are tax deductible.

The Grow Project theme is based on the following verses of scripture:

2 Corinthians 9:10-11

Now God who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase

your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
