LCCT sermon series "YOU ASKED FOR IT" begins Feb 16! We want to hear from you!

A New Sermon Series beginning Sunday, February 16! Be sure to read and respond to the information below the graphic...

Earlier this week I sent out a text message to some of you asking for your input regarding our next sermon series. Thank you for an overwhelming response! Our next sermon series at Life Change Tullahoma will begin February 16th and run up to Easter Sunday. The COOL thing is that you have a say in what will be the topics for the series. Let me put it this way... What is the one issue or question you would like to hear a message about? We are going to take the top 7-8 issues and/or questions and use them as topics for the new series. NOTHING is off the table or off limits!
Below is a link to a video that another church used to promote a similar series. I have also included the responses we have received from many of you thus far. Check them out, and then let us know what you think at lifechangetullahoma@gmail.com or text us at 931-488-8200 with the issue or question that is on your heart and mind. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks so much!

Responses we have received thus far...
  • Drinking alcohol on occasion, is it a sin or not? Not drinking to get drunk, or drinking to forget problems but just drinking a glass of wine with dinner or whatever. what does the Bible day?
  • How to read the Bible, where to start reading it if you’ve not read it before.
  • The church, politics, government.
  • Relationships, Accountability
  • Discipleship
  • Mental Illness
  • Dealing with loss, depression, loneliness, guilt, and sense of worth.
  • I would like to hear something about why the things that were right are now wrong and the things that were wrong are now right. Also why are so many churches getting away from preaching the gospel and trying to reach those who are still lost, to just going along with the status quo and forgetting their true doctrine?
  • Forgiveness
  • A favorite phrase that I heard from the pastor at my church in Michigan was that the congregation was a "mixed bag of nuts". We are all imperfect and cannot believe that we are perfect, or else we would not need Jesus. I don't know where this would lead to, but my thoughts are it can be misleading to think we should be perfect in the eyes of our fellow Christian peers... we have to be forgiving and loving... Jesus loved sinners❤️ I think more people need to hear that .
  • Some topics that come to mind are Diversity, Forgiveness, God's Attributes, God's Will, Homosexuality, Difficulties, Encouragement, False Teaching.
  • What does the Bible say about sex, marriage, and homosexuality?
  • Living with or being married to a physically or verbally abusive person.
  • Having a spouse who is a non-believer, and how that impacts mine, and our child’s faith. Anxiety and Stress of life. Fighting temptation. Breaking old habits. Learning more than the bible stories I was taught as a child.
  • Change
  • Family issues, family members hurting other family members.
  • How do I pray? How do I know God hears me? How often should I pray?
  • Spiritual Warfare in our churches, families, workplaces & government. Most people just believe that it's bad luck or evil on some unreachable or abstract level? Reality is that Satan knows his days are numbered and he works very hard to destroy the lives of everyday people.
  • The early church, the book of Acts.
  • How can I keep my Faith strong when I'm going through a terrible time and feel broken?
  • Addiction, drugs, alcohol, porn
Thanks again! Have a great Thursday! PCW
