What an exciting time of year! Football is just around the corner, school will soon be back in session, fall is just around the corner, and perhaps most of all... EXCITING THINGS ARE COMING UP AT LCCT THAT YOU WILL WANT TO BE A PART OF! One thing that is presently not on the calendar that will be added ASAP is BAPTISM! We currently have several folks who are wanting to be baptized and we are working on a date, place, and time for baptism as I write this. We will be sure to keep you informed!

Beginning Wednesday, August 15 @ 6:00 - LCCT Students Wednesday Night Fuel! A weekly gathering for students in grades 6-12 from 6:00 to 7:30. Each week will feature a relevant topic that students deal with, and what the Bible has to say about it. Each week will also feature games, breakout groups for MS & HS, a other great stuff!

Beginning Wednesday, August 15 from 6:00 to 7:30 - DAVE RAMSEY'S FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY!  Financial Peace University is a nine-session, money-management class taught by America's most trusted financial guru, Dave Ramsey. Dave and his teaching team will walk you through the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future, and much more. The best way to jump-start your financial journey and to see the most significant life-change is to join a local group and experience the class with other people. Classes typically meet for 90 minutes once a week for nine weeks and are led by a volunteer coordinator. The accountability and motivation you receive from discussing the lessons and meeting with people face-to-face is the key to changing your life! Classes begin August 15 and finish November 7. Sunday, August 26 @ 11:30 - LCCT Covenant Membership Class! If you're ready to take the "Next Step" at Life Change we encourage you to join us for our Covenant Membership Class. This 45 minute class will help you better understand the Mission and Vision of Life Change, and why we believe "Covenant Membership"  among a local body of believers is important. You'll have the opportunity to ask Pastor Christian questions, and hear how Life Change got started and what we see as our future in Tullahoma. Signup for the class will begin at LCCT in early August.

Beginning Sunday, September 9 @ 5:00 - "Perfect Love" - A Life Group for Women. Ladies you're invited to join us at Life Change Church Tullahoma Sunday evenings at 5:00 from September 9 - October 14 (6 weeks). Saturday, September 22 from 8:00 to 2:30 - LCCT Community Serve!  A day set aside for the body of Christ that is LCCT to use our gifts, talents, and abilities to serve one another and our greater community in the name of Jesus Christ. 

Life Change Tullahoma's Community Service Day is all about serving our community in various ways. If you, or your organization could use a helping hand for the day please call or text us at 931-321-0900, or send us an email at lifechangetullahoma@gmail.com. Here are a few examples of ways in which we might be able to serve: painting; roadside, park, school, stream, trash cleanup; yard work, nursing home visits, small in-home or outside repairs; food distribution; house cleaning; beautification projects, working with other community organizations for the day; etc. Please contact us and let us know how we can serve you or a need you are aware of. We also need volunteers, and you don't have to attend Life Change Tullahoma to partner with us in this effort!

It is my prayer not so much to have a busy calendar, but to offer events and activities that help you to become a better person! Better for God, your family, your friends, and your life! 
One final note... As of today, we are unable to offer anything for children on Wednesday evenings. I am praying that someone will step up and take a lead on a Wednesday Night Kids Program at some point in the near future. Until we have that person, or persons, we will have to hold off a bit when it comes to offering kids activities on Wednesday evenings. I know this will come in time... Until then, be sure to take advantage of our great Sunday morning children's class for kids ages Birth through Kindergarten that takes place during the 10:00 worship service.

LCCT Important Update 6.9.18

Greetings Everyone!

NOTE - PLEASE READ! YOU’LL BE GLAD YOU DID!

On September 18, 2017, a small group of individuals met at the Holiday Inn Express in Tullahoma to seek God’s will and direction regarding a potential new church plant. At the end of the meeting, the group was called to pray and seek God’s direction concerning this potential new church. On October 21, 2017 the group felt God’s leading them to plant a new church in Tullahoma, and Life Change Church was born!

The church met three times during the month of November, primarily on Saturdays. The exception was Tuesday, November 21st which was to be our last gathering for the month. It was a special service of Thanksgiving and Worship leading up to Thanksgiving. That same Tuesday, I (your pastor) fell and completely broke my wrist and had to have emergency surgery. The service went on without the pastor and the room was full! What happened that night is what has been happening since day one; God and God alone was building His church!

In the coming days and weeks God’s plan for LCCT became more evident and clear as He put an opportunity before us to relocate in a more permanent place at 414 Wilson Avenue Suite 121. Over the past seven months the church has seen many new faces, more and more consistent attendees, and has shared the love of Christ in both Word and deed. Since day one, God has been building His church one person at a time and He continues to work week in and week out in and through YOU The Church! We have seen growth throughout the summer and our worship through giving has seen an increase as well. Again, God is building His Church!

Last night as I stood in the Banquet Hall watching the Dorrell family, and gazed upon a room full of kids of all ages, God spoke to me and told me to go to Dan Marcum (the owner of our building) and let him know that I was praying that God would give us the ability to take over the entire banquet Hall. THE ENTIRE BANQUET HALL!! Now, it’s important for you to know that there have been two businesses vying for that very space. However, neither business has been able to make things happen in order to take over the space. If we were to move in the banquet hall we would acquire about 10,000 square feet of worship space, kids space, and office space. We would in time transition out of our current space, at least for now…So… I am praying, and I am asking you to pray that God would give us that space! The whole thing! Honestly, I cannot say at this very moment that our taking over that space is “God’s Will” for us, or if God is simply wanting to see if I will do what He has asked me to do? But here’s the thing… I did it what He asked me to do! And now praying for God’s direction in this, and asking for you to pray as well.

Will you please commit to pray about this with me? Will you pray that of this is God’s will that He would provide the capital (money) we need to make this happen? Would you pray that God would make our path clear and our path straight?

I even went as far as telling Dan Marcum that I have been praying that God wouldn’t allow anyone else to secure the space if it was God's will for us to have it. I can tell you that the Marcum’s are very interested. And I can also tell you that they have a heart for our church and the people in this town. Pray too that God makes His will clear to them.

The bottom line is that we are growing! What a blessing!! And I truly believe that once summer is over and school resumes, we are going to run out of space in our current location very quickly (we are already almost at this point). I also do not believe that the answer is to add a second service in our current location as this would split up our fellowship (it would be one thing if we had a space that held 200 people or more). I know God has a plan and I truly believe He has been revealing His plan to me over the past several weeks. More than anything we don’t want to be ahead nor behind when it comes to His plans… Rather, we want to be right in the midst of them!

So again, will you pray with me regarding this? Will you make it a priority? I pray that you do! I know when God’s people pray that He hears us, and He will answer and provide EVERYTHING we need!!

Update as far as what is needed for July 3rd Community Cookout and Fireworks!!

Hello Life Change Tullahoma Friends and Family!

Tomorrow is going to be a HUGE day as we gather together for our Cookout and to watch the Tullahoma Fireworks. Here is what we need from you...

Let me say first and foremost we do not need anymore buns. If you already purchased buns, I would suggest returning them to the store. they will take them back. I apologize for those of you who might have already purchased them. Know we are learning as we go and will make improvements for next year. If you have already brought buns to the church, you are good to go. No need to come pick them up and return them.

I will be working to partition off the parking lot today at 5:00. If 2 or 3 folks would like to show up at 5:00 and help me that would be great!

We will begin setup tomorrow around 11:00. If you can come help us with setup please let me know.

Here's a list of things we need for the cookout...

1. Plates! We need hundreds and if we have extras we can always use them later.

2. Bottled water! We need lots of bottled water. Please brig it today or tomorrow morning so we can get it on ice.

3. Coolers with ice

4. Side dishes. Anything you make will be welcomed. Potato salad and macaroni salad can be purchased at the grocery stores... We already have about 150 small bags of chips, could probably use 150 more! The small individual bags are best because they will keep for next time. 

5. Desserts - Cookies are easy to handle and would be a good choice.

6. Napkins

7. Bowls or Tin pans for food

8. Soda's or juice boxes

9. Extra lawn chairs

10. Cornhole boards and bags

11. Utensils

12. Safety Cones (needed by 5:00 today)

13. Any other ideas or things you can think of that would make our picnic great!

We need all hands on deck and will need folks to help with Face Painting, Bouncy Houses, and Kids games. We have purchased prizes to give to kids!

Please arrive by 5:00 if at al possible. Wear your Life Change shirts! Be ready to have fun and love on people from our community! We can do this!! It's gonna be an awesome day!!

You're Help is Needed! Community Cookout & Fireworks Tuesday, July 3rd 2018

Hello Life Change Tullahoma Friends and Family!

We both need and want all of our Life Change Church Tullahoma Friends and Family to join us for what will likely prove our BIGGEST EVENT to date. Here's how you can both enjoy the festivities and help us make it all happen!

First of all, think of this as a combination church picnic and community outreach all balled up into one BIG event! In fact, we believe this is going this is going to be so BIG of an event/outreach that this will be our Community Serve Project for the quarter. The Community Serve Event that was scheduled for Saturday, July 21^st has been moved to Saturday, September 22.

Below is our list of needs. Please reply and let me know what you would be willing to help us with. As you might imagine, pulling off an event like this cost money. You can help us keep down our cost by donating any of the items listed below under Food/Condiments/Drinks/Utensils.

Needed from Friends and Family of Life Change Tullahoma…

·     Set up Team– Beginning at 1:00 on Tuesday, July 3^rd. (Need 12-15 people)

·     Face Painters(6-9 people on a rotation)

·     Bouncy House Workers(10-12 people on a rotation)

·     Various Kids Game Workers(10-12 people on a rotation)

·     Tear Down and Clean Up Team(18-20 people)

Food/Condiments/Drinks/Utensils

·     Side dishes and desserts(each side should feed 4-6 people)

·     Sliced tomato, lettuce, onions for burgers(bring on Tuesday at 5:45)

·     320 Hot dog Buns(drop off Sun morning or Monday between 9:30 & 4:30)

·     210 Hamburger Buns(drop off Sun morning or Monday between 9:30 & 4:30)

·      5 Ketchup, 4 Mustard, 3 Mayo, 3 Relish– unused and in squeeze bottles (drop off Sun morning or Monday between 9:30 & 4:30)

·     Napkins, Knives, and Forks (drop off Sun morning or Monday between 9:30 & 4:30)

·     Bottled Water, Canned Drinks(drop off Sun morning or Monday between 9:30 & 4:30)

·     Cheese slices for burgers(drop off Sun morning or Monday between 9:30 & 4:30)

·     Ice for Snow Cone Machine(bring on Tuesday at 5:45)

·     Traffic Cones (drop off Sun morning or Monday between 9:30 & 4:30)

Please also bring the following with you when you come…

·     Lawn chairs(bring an extra chair or two if you can)

·     Corn hole board and bags(if you have them)

·     Footballs, Frisbees, etc.(if you choose to)

Life Change Tullahoma Update 6.21.18

Hello Friends and Family of Life Change!

I just have to say that I am really looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday! You have no idea what a blessing and encouragement you are to me, and not just on Sunday mornings! What an awesome thing it is to both hear and see that so many of you are BEING THE CHURCH  during the week. Whether it is helping someone who needs their clothes washed, preparing meals for those who are homebound, caring for those who have lost a loved one, or sharing the Hope that is Christ with others, you are making a difference! Keep it up! I am proud of you!

This Sunday we will be continuing in our "Mission Possible" series with the Priority of Prayer. Let me just say that I realize that a sermon on prayer may not be something that makes you go "Wow! I can't wait to be there on Sunday!!" It's a hard subject... something we all struggle with doing on a consistent basis... something that we might even find boring... something we feel is a one-way street. None-the-less, it is vital to living a healthy, spirit-filled, Christ-centered, life as a Christian. Let me ask you this... "When life hits you the hardest, when you're at the bottom of the barrel, when you are desperate, when you feel you have nowhere else to turn, what do most of us do? We pray, or we ask others to pray for us. So why don't we pray all the time? Why should we pray? How should we pray? Billy Graham said the following regarding prayer: "True prayer is a way of life, not just for use in cases of emergency. Make it a habit, and when the need arises you will be in practice." I encourage you to join us at Life Change this Sunday as we look at The Priority of Prayer.

The Crazy Tie Guy and Family will be at Life Change Church Tullahoma on Sunday evening, July 8th at 6:00! Enjoy Extreme Juggling, Unicycle Riding, Incredible Illusions! Nathan Dorrell is a world-champion juggler, fire eater, comedian and more...who uses his skills to wow audiences of all ages. He and his family perform for churches, corporations, schools and anywhere that needs something amazing. In 2017 he juggled on a super bowl commercial for Advil! He holds several world records in juggling and performs various other a amazing circus skills as well. Audiences love him and his performances! He travels the world performing his world-class acts! Parents and children alike are welcome to join us for this FREE event!

Thursday, July 12 - LCCT Students Trip to Kentucky Kingdom & Hurricane Bay!

We will load and leave from Life Change Church at 5:00 a.m. central and arrive back at the church at approx. 11:00 p.m. central time. Be sure to bring money for 2 meals on the road, one meal in the park, and any spending money you wish to bring. Also, if you plan to visit Hurricane Bay (the water park) you will need your swimsuit and a towel! There are lockers and places to change in the water park. If you went with us in June you do not need to purchase a ticket. Otherwise the tickets are $45.00. Be sure to sign up at the church by Sunday, July 9 if you plan to join us on the trip. It's been good to be back in the saddle this week! I pray you are having a great day.

I am looking forward to sharing part 2 of my message titled, "I Am The Church" this coming Sunday, June 10th.

This week we'll be answering the question: “If I am the Church, what should I be doing, saying, being? What should I not be doing, saying, being? What is my mission? I look forward to worshipping and gathering with you!

SUMMER FUN HAS BEGUN! And we have lots of summertime events lined up or you and your family over the next few months. Please take a few moments and check what's coming up for YOU at Life Change!

He and his family perform for churches, corporations, schools and anywhere that needs something amazing. In 2017 he juggled on a super bowl commercial for Advil! He holds several world records in juggling and performs various other a amazing circus skills as well. Audiences love him and his performances! He travels the world performing his world-class acts! Wednesday, July 11th– Friday, July 13th- LCCT Student Ministry White Water Rafting Retreat Ocoee River!

Joins us as Life Change Church Tullahoma's Student Ministry embarks on an Adventure Retreat! The retreat is for Middle School, High School, and College age students. Retreat Price - $130.00 per person. A deposit of $65.00 is due on Sunday June 17th, with the remaining $65.00 due by Sunday, July 8th. $130 per person includes 5 meals, 2 nights lodging, & travel. Students will need money for 2 meals on the road and any spending money they would like to bring. A day set aside for the body of Christ that is LCCT to use our gifts, talents, and abilities to serve one another and our greater community in the name of Jesus Christ.

Life Change Tullahoma's Community Service Day is all about serving our community in various ways. If you, or your organization could use a helping hand for the day please call or text us at 931-321-0900 or send us an email at lifechangetullahoma@gmail.com. Here are a few examples of ways in which we might be able to serve: painting; roadside, park, school, stream, trash cleanup; yard work, nursing home visits, small in-home or outside repairs; food distribution; house cleaning; beautification projects, working with other community organizations for the day; etc. Please contact us and let us know how we can serve you or a need you are aware of. We also need volunteers, and you don't have to attend Life Change Tullahoma to partner with us in this effort!
